Mani dam is constructed near the Masthikatte at the base of the Kunchikal waterfall, which slows down the flow of water.
Kunchikal falls is in the forest where there are restrictions for the public, even though if you want to visit this place, you must have to take permission letter from KPC office Hosangadi before to visit this waterfall. Rainy season is the most suitable time to visit.
